Dear Warden and Registrants:
Please share the following information with the American citizens on your warden list, and any other Americans you know.

Enhanced Services in ACS

To improve efficiency and customer service, the American Citizen Services section of the U.S. Consulate General Guayaquil is changing public hours, implementing procedures for online appointments and offering delivery service for passports and Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA).  Effective Monday, March 10, 2008, the new hours and days of service for all matters except notaries will be Mondays through Thursdays from 12 noon to 4 p.m., except U.S. and local holidays.  Notaries will only take place on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, except U.S. and Ecuadorian holidays.

Along with passport and CRBA applications, notary appointments can be scheduled online through our website, http://guayaquil.usconsulate.gov/general_information2.html.  We are also pleased to offer delivery service of passports and CRBAs to your address or closest DHL office to your residence.  American citizens will have the option of paying to have their passports delivered or picking up their new passports on Fridays between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., except U.S. and local holidays.  Emergency passport requests will continue to receive priority.
