Vacational Season Information

INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS PLANNING TO APPLY FOR TOURIST VISAS FOR THE VACATION SEASON

Due to the large number of applications for visas that the US Consulate in Guayaquil receives during the vacation season for the coastal area, we suggest that people in the Guayaquil consular district apply well in advance of when you intend to travel.  Applying in advance will help avoid any delay in scheduling your appointment that could impact your travel plans. If you intend to travel during the next several months or your visa is due to expire soon, apply now, as there are far fewer applicants than there will be once the vacation season arrives.  By applying now, you can guarantee that there will be no delay in scheduling your appointment, and you will have your visa when you need it.  Please call the Visa Information Service at 1-800-010-145 in Ecuador or 1-800-919-5290 in the United States, and schedule your visa application appointment.  For more information on the VIS, please click here.  Remember to check the expiration date for every member of your family, apply now, and avoid any problems for your travel plans.
