FOL Donations to the Community of Manabi

Forward Operating Location (FOL) personnel recently donated more than 1000 items to non-profit organizations in the city of Manta. Ambassador Heather Hodges and Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Curtis, the FOL Administrator, participated in a ceremony in which they officially handed over the items, which included one fully-equipped ambulance valued at $ 40,000, two additional vehicles, and other related equipment. The Embassy is still processing the paperwork to donate three additional vehicles.
The beneficiaries of the FOL donations are social and community service organizations in and around Manta with which the FOL volunteers have consistently worked during the last 10 years.
