Consul General delivered donations to the Damien House Foundation

Douglas Griffiths, Consul General, visited the Damien House Foundation to present the generous donations from the guests to the Consulate’s July Fourth Independence Day celebration this year. In addition to the monetary donations, was a statue donated by the local artist Yela Loffredo de Klein, to support this institution with its wonderful work.
The Damien House Foundation was established by the Sister Ana Credidio and serves the people affected of Hansen’s disease. There are more than 60 hospitalized patients and 700 in outpatients.For more information: www.thedamienhouse.org
