Talk on the American Electoral Process in UCSG

The series of presentations offered by the Public Affairs Officer, Peter Martin, in Universidad Católica de Guayaquil, continued this week with a talk at the UCSG business school.
Using a simple but illustrative analysis, the American diplomat chatted with more than 50 students and showed them the various stages of the American electoral process, with the goal of offering the Ecuadorian college students a deeper understanding of American politics and culture.  Members of the diplomatic mission are conducting similar presentations in a variety of educational institutions in several cities, an effort that has strengthened the bonds of friendship between the U.S. and Ecuador.
