Public Affairs Officer Pete Martin gave a presentation on the U.S. primary elections process for approximately 20 members of the Junior Board of Directors of Guayaquil’s Chamber of Commerce.  The 90-minute session covered various aspects of the American electoral system, including the history and evolution of the primary process, the role they play in determining party candidates, the importance of citizen and media participation and the impact of the primaries on the 2008 U.S. elections.
